Meeting Time: Second Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM
Meeting Place: Parish Office
Description of Ministry:
Recognizing that all of us are blessed by God both spiritually and materially, the mission of St. Joan of Arc Committee is to foster a spirituality of thanksgiving and biblical stewardship within our parish community.
In fostering this spirituality, the Stewardship Committee is also to identify and affirm the gifts of parishioners. We then challenge all parishioners to share generously of their Time, Talent, and Treasure for the good of St. Joan of Arc Parish and beyond. Furthermore, the Stewardship Committee is to guide the parish in welcoming new members and inviting their participation in the life and ministry of St. Joan of Arc Parish.
We are looking for volunteers to work on the Stewardship Committee. We will work with various ministries that need assistance, and formulate the next Annual Pledge Drive and Opportunity Fair.
Accomplishments/Responsibilities:
-
Seek annual Stewardship Commitments & Timelines
-
Identify Lay Witnesses
-
Organize Parish Ministry Fair
-
Communicate with Parishioners on Stewardship
-
Constantly Work on Community Building & Warm Welcoming
-
Set Annual Goals
-
Promote Ministries
We would like a diverse mix of parishioners. Retirees, CCD Parents, School Parents, Past School Parents, and other parishioners are encouraged to participate. Gathering ideas from the Parish is extremely important, and this will be the #1 goal of this group.
