The distribution of Holy Communion is part of the Church’s public worship and a ministry that is recognized by the Church. In addition to the general guidelines for those ministering in the parish, those who minister Communion have an appreciation and reverence for the Eucharist and strive to “be” the Body of Christ through service and outreach in the community.
