Ecumenical Prayer Service

                Nashotah, WI

An ecumenical prayer service celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in Adams Hall at Nashotah House Theological Seminary, 2777 Mission Road, Nashotah, followed by fellowship and refreshments in the refectory. The Rev. Michael Strachota of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Nashotah will officiate.

 

MPS Alumni Gospel Choir


The MPS Alumni Gospel Choir will join the St. Joan of Arc Choir at the 10:30 Mass on Feburary 12, 2012.


About MPS Gospel Choir
The MPS Gospel Choir was organized in 2006 by Mr. Barry Applewhite, former Music Curriculum specialist for the Milwaukee Public Schools, for the benefit of 10,000 MPS students who perform in Milwaukee's Biennial Music Festival, allows students to realize that experiences like these can endure a lifetime. The choir expanded in 2009 to include members of Milwaukee's homeless community, who have found a new family in the choir. The Choir includes people of all ages, races, religions, abilities, and occupations.
